LI Jiawei

Hi, I am Jiawei, currently a fourth year Ph.D. candidate advised by Prof. Jian Mao at Beihang University (BUAA)buaa logo and Prof. Zhenkai Liang at National University of Singapore (NUS)nus logo. I'm now working with the insightful CURIOSITY Group.

My research interest lies in system security, program analysis, and AI for security.

In addition to daily work, I enjoy hiking and playing the guitar. Currently, I'm practicing hard on La Catedral by Agustín Barrios and Chaconne by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Projects
  • UI-CTX: Aim for bridging app's UI layer and code layer semantics to extract and describe app widget functionality concisely, serving as a basis for a multi-view-based app behavior analysis. Code
  • UIHash: It uses dynamic analysis to get UI info from app runtime, builds a grid-based representation guided by Gestalt principles, and leverages a Siamese Network for robust similarity detection. Code
  • Integrate embedded GPU-powered object detection and UWB positioning to AR glasses --- object annotations and a small map can be seen in our field of vision. Code
  • A third-party online video client that runs on both PC and phone, using FFMpeg for decoding. Code
  • Use reinforcement learning to play Tic-Tac-Toe, and control a drone to move on the checkerboard. Code
